The first lesson
is very, very easy. After gently warming you up
on the exercise bikes we will show you how to Stretch,
Skip and perform certain Basic
Exercises. You only perform a
low amount of repetitions on this lesson, and
then each time that you train, we gradually build
you up on the exercises.
On the
first lesson, we will teach you Stance and how to Block. Protecting the face, the area we regard as the most
important part of the body. Then we progress onto
the Strikes, with the Straight
Punch, the Elbow,
the Knee and the Front
Kick (to stop and push away a potential
opponent).
Before finishing
we perform a cool
down with stretches,
and explain the areas you have trained on
during this session. Also
discussing the areas that we intend to improve,
and what we will shall be working on in
the next lesson, as well as answering any
questions that you may have

There is no need to feel anxious
at all. Our Okami Dojo Kickboxing syllabus, is
a very well structured system catering to the novice
on their very first lesson, right throught to the
Black belt preparing for a Championship, and if
you follow the system correctly, you can get great
rewards from the training.
Todays novice beginner, struggling when
performing 10 Situps, could quite easily, one
day be one of our super-fit Black belts. They
all started with this very lesson.
Maybe you would
like to train for Belt Grading ( White-belt
through to Black belt) or even Competition
( from Amateur through to the Professional
Championship levels ).

If
after reading through this website you feel that
you would like to enroll at the Warrington
Kickboxing Studio all you need to
do is pickup the telephone and make an appointment
to come and see us.
Then, when you
call into the Studio, we can have a brief chat,
finding out what YOU would like to get from YOUR

Please do not be
put off with the fact that we insist on meeting
face to face potential new members before allowing
them to train. 99% of people are of sound character,
and are very nice people. However there is always
that 1% that are not.
At most Martial
Art Centres throughout
the country anyone can just show up to a class
and learn kicks,punches,knees
and elbows without the Instructor having any prior
knowledge of that person, be it their name, address,
possible criminal convictions etc. To those Instructors
it is more important just to have large class
numbers generating large incomes, rather than
what is truley right for society.

At
Warrington Kickboxing we
believe this is wrong, and that only people
of a sensible character should be taught
any
Martial Art.
Idiots should not be shown how to use kicks.
punches, elbows and knees etc in case they
take this knowledge away with them and then
used it on against another person.

If
you also believe that Martial Arts are for Self-Defence,
then you will be one of the 99% of people that would
be more than welcome at

is stressed however that you do need to make an
appointment. The School is a Private
Centre and
we do not allow just anyone to just call into
the Studio as we may already have a Private lesson
being conducted at the time.

Further reasons to start
at Warrington Kickboxing Studio.
It is very hard to exercise yourself anyway without
a Trainer to encourage you. But even the best
Self-Motivation is soon lost, when in the middle
of a training session you have to stop for 30
minutes as the equipment you require is being
used already. Many new members of these large
gyms soon begin to miss training sessions, and
the next thing they know, before they realize
it, they have stopped training all together.
Although
it may seem crazy, this is what these Gyms actually
want. Just think about it? They would not be able
to sell memberships to potential new customers,
if when they showed them around their facilities,
the gym was packed out. Imagine if all of their
several hundred members, decided to train at 6
pm Monday night, straight after they finished
work. It would be impossible!
When
looking around a Weights Gym and considering
becoming a member, workout for yourself
how many members can actually exercise
at the same time. Even the largest Gyms
could not accommodate even 10% of their
membership working out at any one time.

These
gyms actually sell memberships to the public for
12 months, yet they not only want, but need, members
to drop out after just 8 - 12 weeks.
This is so that when the next new customers are
shown around the facilities, the Gym does not
look over crowded. If it was then they would lose
new business, as potential new members would not
join up. It is up to you to decide. For some joining
a Weights Gym is ideal, but think seriously about
it first.
Approximately

it to be a waste of time and money for them, with
the Kickboxing Studio, and our booking
system for training sessions the perfect solution.
