It is very hard
to exercise yourself anyway without a Trainer
to encourage you. But even the best Self-Motivation
is soon lost, when in the middle of a training
session you have to stop for 30 minutes as the
equipment you require is being used already. Many
new members of these large gyms soon begin to
miss training sessions, and the next thing they
know, before they realize it, they have stopped
training all together.
Although it may
seem crazy, this is what these Gyms actually want.
Just think about it? They would not be able to
sell memberships to potential new customers, if
when they showed them around their facilities,
the gym was packed out. Imagine if all of their
several hundred members, decided to train at 6
pm Monday night, straight after they finished
work. It would be impossible!
When
looking around a Weights Gym and considering
becoming a member, workout for yourself
how many members can actually exercise
at the same time. Even the largest Gyms
could not accommodate even 10% of their
membership working out at any one time.

These gyms actually
sell memberships to the public for 12 months,
yet they not only want, but need, members to drop
out after just 8 - 12 weeks. This is
so that when the next new customers are shown
around the facilities, the Gym does not look over
crowded. If it was then they would lose new business,
as potential new members would not join up. It
is up to you to decide. For some joining a Weights
Gym is ideal, but think seriously about it first.
Approximately 62%
of our new members have at some point joined a
Weights Gym and found it to be a waste of time
and money for them, with the Kickboxing Studio, and our booking system
for training sessions the perfect solution. Plus,
not only are they motivated and encouraged throughout
their session by a personal trainer, they are
actually, whilst exercising,
learning skills that could one day save their
life!.
