Although the school has been established for over 15 years, you would not think the studio is actually that old. This is because we operate a policy whereby all of the equipment within the facilities are replaced regularly for the benefit of our members. In fact the Studio has just ( 1st June 2009 ) completed its latest refurbishment to the highest of standards.

Across the width of the Studio there is a full length Mirrored wall, over 12 metres wide for shadow boxing skills and important Line Drills.

We have Punch Bags, Kick Pads, and the very best quality 40 mm thick padded Safety flooring.

Plus a 'Japanese' style competition-ring featuring '5' ropes, as seen in this close up photo of the Black corner.

The Studio flooring and competition-ring are ideal for stand up sparring ( kumite ) or groundwork ( newaza ).

As you will see, the Studio has everyone of its walls tiled, something rarely seen in a artial arts centre. to ensure that you are training in the cleanest enviroment.

We also have Free-weights, a Mult-gym, exercise bikes and a state of the art heavy duty running machine ideal for jogging or sprint training!

To compliment all of this, the Ladies and Gents changing rooms have their own complete ensuite shower, with splash room, and toilet facilities, and these are also fully tiled with mirrored walls.

The Okami Dojo even has air conditioning to constantly keep the School at a comfortable training temperature for our members, heated during the winter and cooled in the Summer.

There is also ample car parking facilities as we are situated next to public car park that caters for upto 60 vehicles.

Although there are other very good Martial Art Schools, that may cater to some of the aforementioned, we would like to stress that there are No Other Martial Arts Centres offering All of This, in the whole of the UK.
