Private (or
Personal tuition as some people call it ), is
the best way for anyone to learn anything, and
is in fact what we Specialize in at the Studio.
The Training is geared specifically to you and
your individual needs, which obviously vary from
person to person because everyone is different.
With your own Personal
Trainer you learn at a greatly accelerated rate.
This is due to being trained more intensely and
monitored constantly. Any mistakes are corrected
immediately, thus eliminating any bad form that
you may be developing before it becomes set in
your technique.

The sessions are held at ANYTIME, DAY
OR NIGHT (by appointment), and you can
chose to train in total privacy or with
a small group.
You may even have you own specific training
goals with particular areas you wish to
specialize in. Whatever your requirements
are, your Personal Trainer will cater
to you!

The number of people
training in a Private lesson at any one time,
is between 1 and 6 persons. Due to this the Teacher
to Student ration is much higher than other Martial
Art classes, producing members of a superior quality.
When training
a basic format is usually adhered to. 'Aerobic'
exercise ( eg. Basic Stretching, Skipping and
Shadow Boxing ), followed by 'Anerobic Exercise'
( Advanced Stretching, Strength and Stamina Circuit
training).
After this the
session progresses onto the technique training.
This can consist of many different areas. Basic
Drills, Self-Defence Situations, Bagwork, Padwork
or Partner work. Grading Skills & Competition
Sparring are taught only if requested, and it
is stressed that unlike other clubs, the Kickboxing
Studio does not make a member practise these areas
if they do not wish!
