Mens Division = 550 Athletes,
Total Ranked = 653 Athletes.
The British Amateur rankings are produced in a league format. This rewards
the most active athletes and means that there cannot be any bias in
the placings.
Novice Bout : --------------Win
= 5 Points, ---Loss = 3 Points
English Title : ---------------Win
= 10 Points, ---Loss = 5 Points
Senior Bout : --------------Win = 10 Points,
---Loss = 6 Points
British Title : ---------------Win = 20
Points, ---Loss = 10 Points
Commonwealth Title :- Win = 30 Points,---
Loss = 15 Points
European Title---------- : Win = 40 Points,---
Loss = 20 Points
Inter-Continental Title : Win = 50 Points,---
Loss = 25 Points
World Title : ---------------- Win = 60
Points, ---Loss = 30 Points.
Inactive athletes lose 1 ranking point per month ( 12 per year ).
Rankings are recalculated every eight weeks ( 2 months ).
Note:
All Champions must make TITLE DEFENCES
within 364 days of the date that they won
their title,
or the date that they last offered a voluntary title defence, ( Should
they not get matched ).
